For anyone who's wondering, any close-ups and flora shots are photographed in the field.
I may try my hand at some set-up shots in the future as I can get real close with the 240mm on the Chamonix in particular. Just gotta account for that bellows factor! A great easy tool for compensating can be found in the QuickDisc. There's also a great tutorial on bellows factor on Youtube, care of J Brunner: Bellows factor with Bacon.
